AGRIBUSINESS

& FOOD SECURITY

Demand for food in the MEA region continues to rise due to both population and income growth, compounding governments’ longstanding concerns over food security and import dependence for key staple food products. With steadily improving business climates and measures taken by several states towards promoting food self-sufficiency, the opportunities for Agribusiness have proliferated.

Developing large-scale, irrigated farms in arid areas offers many countries in the region with the best chance of achieving enduring food security; investment in modern technologies and advanced business models is key to boosting local production, as well as positively influencing wider economic and social development including contribution towards meeting several global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We work closely with both public and private sector clients during the planning, development and management of agribusiness projects, offering the necessary range of investment strategy, financial consultancy, project management and technical services needed to ensure they successfully navigate the sector’s risks and opportunities.
